A tough Sunday for a pair of Nipissing District Soccer Club teams on Sunday in Alliston.
The U17 Lakers girls fell 2-1 to the U17 Barrie SC girls 2-1 in the Gold Cup final Sunday afternoon.
Sarah Petrie had the lone goal for the Lakers in the loss.
Meantime, the U16 Lakers boys fell 6-0 to the U16 Barrie SC boys in their Gold Cup final contest also Sunday afternoon.
The loss comes after the Lakers defeated Barrie 2-1 in their previous contest a few weeks ago in North Bay.
