The Nipissing Lakers varsity men's hockey team is on the ice for a rare Wednesday night home contest as they host the Ryerson Rams.

The Lakers, who sit at 4-4-0-1 are looking to break out of a four-game losing streak.

The Rams bring with them some familiar faces to Battalion fans as their roster includes former Battalion players Zachary Shankar, Mark Shoemaker, Mathew Santos, and Steve Harland

The Lakers have been led offensively by Drake Lindsay and Gael Lubwele who are tied for the team lead in scoring with nine points.

Puck drop is set for 7 p.m. at Memorial Gardens.
