The Nipissing Lakers Varsity Men's team dropped their exhibition game Saturday night, 4-2 to Toronto.

Nipissing is back in action October 1st when they host the Laurentian Voyageurs in their final pre-season game.
Women's Hockey
The Lakers Varsity Women's hockey team dropped Saturday's game 4-2 to York.
Jetta Derenoski and Sam Strassburger had the Nipissing goals.
Micaela Stutzki was solid in net, making 25 saves.
The Lakers finished the pre-season with a 3-1-0 record and will open the regular season on the road on October 15th versus Queens.
