The 11th season of the Nipissing Inline Hockey league is on its way and registration has begun.

Youth ages 6 –18 are invited to participate in this fun, exciting game of inline hockey.

Registration forms are available from Cheapskates Sporting Goods, Play It Again Sports or Hilltop Variety where registrations will be accepted until March 31, 2005.

The opening weekend will be April 22. All regular games will be played at West Ferris Arena this year.

As further validation of how far our league has come, Canada Inline has announced their National Recognition Awards. The Nipissing Inline Hockey League was honoured to have members of our Blacknight rep program recognized as well as individual players from our league that played for Team Ontario in the World Inline Cup.

Community Rep Coaches of the Year:
Norm Marion & Greg Theberge (Nipissing Inline14UAAA)
(Norm and Greg lead their team that was ranked as AA team throughout the year to the AAA Ontario Title. This team peaked at the right time and were the surprise of the
Provincial Championship, except to the players.

Team Ontario 15U
(Marc Senecal currently with the North Bay Trappers and Darcy Vaillancourt with the Algonquin Barons played for this Under 15 team and won the 16U World Inline Cup
division defeating Team Ontario 16U and Team USA 16U).

The focus of Nipissing Inline has always been on a community based house league inline hockey program and everyone is invited to play this safe and fun sport. There is no body checking, no off-sides. Just plain wide open fun!
