HOCKEY NEWS REPORTS NHL SEASON SAVED!

The Hockey News is reporting that the NHL and the NHLPA have agreed in principle to a deal which includes a $45 million dollar salary cap. However, "The Score" is reporting that the NHLPA has denied the report.

The Hockey News broke the story tonight with quotes from an anonymous NHL player who said tomorrow the league and its players will announce a deal is done and the season will be saved. The two sides are reportedly meeting in New York Saturday morning three days after the season was "officially" cancelled.
