History made as Trappers face Trappers

Major Trappers improve to 9-1-0-1 on the season

A pair of North Bay teams faced off for the first time ever as competitors in Great North Midget League action on Wednesday night as the North Bay Major Midget AAA Trappers clashed with the North Bay Minor Midget AAA Trappers, who joined the GNML for the first time ever this season.  

The Major Trappers scored three times in the opening period and held on for a 6-2 win over the Minor Midget Trappers.  

Matt Hardwick, Ian Denomme, Ryan Mills, Bailey Chenier, Ethan Allair and Sam Garagan scored for the Major Trappers. 

Nick Davis contributed a pair of assists in the win.  

Jack Stockfish and Ben Brunette replied for the Minor Trappers.  

The win improves the Major Trappers record to 9-1-0-1 on the season while the Minor Trappers fall to 3-4 on the season.
