North Bay Ice Boltz Midget AA played a pair of home games this past weekend and had a great start to the new year.
With 5 games remaining in the LLFHL regular season and teams getting ready for the playoffs.
On Saturday afternoon the Boltz defeated the North York Storm 4-0 and Sunday they defeated the Vaughn Flames 3-0.
The Boltz looking to secure home ice in the first round of playoffs will need a strong finish to the season.
The Boltz are off to Ottawa this weekend to take part in the Ottawa Senators Winter Classic.
They will play Nepean Wildcats U18, Kitchener Lady Rangers Friday and Saturday take on Whitby Wolves and Gloucester Stars.
