The Nipissing Wild kept it close in the opening quarter but the Sudbury Gladiators opened up the offence in a big way with six unanswered touchdowns as the Glads eliminated the Wild from the playoffs with a 46-2 win Saturday afternoon at the James Jerome Sports Complex in Sudbury.

The Wild was hoping to re-create an upset playoff win which the team performed in the opening round of the 2012 OFC Varsity football playoffs.

The Wild finished with a 1-5 record during the regular season.
