The first qualifier for the Nipissing Bass Series hosted by the Nosbonsing Anglers & Hunters was held on Sunday, June 23 out of Hunters Bay Marine.
The North Bay team of Brian Milne & Greg Gilson weighed in and released a five-bass limit that tipped the scales at 21.23 lbs.
That weigh-in puts them in the early lead for the highly competitive "Angler of The Year" race.
The next qualifier is Saturday, July 20 out of the North Bay Waterfront Marina.
