Freestyle Ontario Timber Tour Mogul Competition makes stop at Laurentian Ski Hill

It's the first time North Bay has been selected as a stop on the circuit for this provincial competition.

Laurentian Ski Hill Snowboard Club in partnership with Freestyle Ontario is presenting theTimber Tour Moguls competition in North Bay, February 3rd and 4th

.

This is the first mogul event of the season, and the first time North Bay has been selected as a stop on the circuit for this provincial competition.

 

Friday is a training day, followed by two separate mogul sanctioned events, starting at 10:20 AM both Saturday and Sunday. 

 

Over 40 athletes, along with coaches, supporters and officials will be in attendance. 

 

A total of 27 local volunteers and 25 out-of-town volunteers have reached out to offer their assistance.

 

The public is invited to come out and support these young competitors. Ample parking is available at the bottom of the hill, on Ski Club Road.

 

The next stop on the tour is the Caledon Ski Club February 9-11 for Slope and Mogul.

 

The provincials go February 22-25 at Horseshoe resort, for Mogul, Dual Mogul and Slope.
