Flag football champs declared (new)

The West Ferris Flag Football League came to a close on the weekend and championship and consolation titles were declared in peewee and bantam divisions.

Best Western Bills won the peewee title with a 24-8 win over Pizza Hut 49ers.

Engraving Shoppe Eagles defeated West Ferris Trojans 40-34 in the consolation final.

Members of the championship Best Western team: Mike Carr, Darius Tignanelli, Matthew Cucullo, Zoe Zimbalatti, Amber Wilson and Ian Hall.

Pepsi punt, pass and kick competition:

10 year olds:
1. Darius Tignanelli; 2. Jalen Wilson; 3. Mitchell Forte.

11 year olds:
1. Jake Tougas; 2. Troy Tiller; 3. Robert Bower

In the bantam division, Engraving Shoppe Raiders defeated West Ferris Trojans 28-26 in the championship final and Best Western Rams downed Pizza Hut Titans 30-16 in the consolation final.
