In a tightly contested final of the North Bay Baseball Peewee House League, the Airport Emeralds squeezed out a 5-4 victory in the bottom of the last inning versus the White Owl Bistro Nipissing Sharks to win the championship on Monday evening at Kelly Field in North Bay.

Thanks to strong pitching from Travis Rose and Simon Dubé, key hitting and quality base running, the Emeralds managed to keep pace with the Sharks to finally come out with the win.
