The 6th Annual Eastern Ontario Valley National 8-Ball Association will be hosting their Provincial Tournament on February 21 and 24 at the Ramada Inn Pinewood Park in North Bay.
A total of 40 pool tables will be arriving from Colorado and will be set up specifically for this event. There will be almost 400 players taking part from North Bay, Sudbury, Sault Ste. Marie, Rouyn-Noranda, Ville Marie Quebec, and Toronto.
There are 230 players competing in the individual Open, Silver, Bronze, Copper Super Rec and Women’s Divisions. For the team events, 90 teams will be after titles in the Silver, Bronze, Copper and Super Rec Divisions which is a record for this tournament.
The competition will start on Thursday at 10:00 am (February 21) for the individual events and finishes on Friday afternoon. The team competition will begin at 3 pm and continues until Sunday with the finals in all divisions taking part in the afternoon. Mini-tournaments are being played on Wednesday evening which will give players a chance to prepare and warm up for the big events.
Some of the best male and female players from Ontario and Quebec are taking part in this tournament and anyone wanting to come and watch great pool being played is more than welcome to do so.
