Eagles soar past Barons in final preview

Mitchell Sullivan, Kris McKinnon and Kevin Gareau scored for the Barons in the loss.

The two clubs clinched 1st and 2nd place prior to their morning contest, as the Trojans eliminated Confederation, handing them a 7-1 whipping in the early morning game. Scott Britton had 3 goals for the Trojans who were eliminated by Algonquin Tuesday night. They finish 3rd in the 4 team tournament.

The Barons will be without forward Michel Vezina for Wednesday's final as he was handed a 5 minute major and a game for hitting Eagles defenceman Ari Viitala from behind in the first period.

Wednesday's final starts at 7:10 p.m. at Memorial Gardens.
