Drolet claims Free Throw Championship

Janie Drolet, a student in grade 5 at École Saints-Anges, has been crowned the champion of the Knights of Columbus 2013 Provincial Free Throw Championship in her age group (10 year olds).

Drolet won four competitions, beginning locally, on her path to qualifying for provincials.

Average scores from participants across the province were then sent to the Knights of Columbus provincial office in order to determine the champions in each age group.

A presentation was later held at the school to celebrate Janie’s accomplishment.

Members of the local Chevaliers de Colombs organization presented Janie with a trophy and commemorative basketball.

École Saints-Anges is certainly proud to have a provincial champion among their students.
