The Cavaliers are the Nipissing Basketball Association Under-13 champs.
The Cavaliers broke things open in the second quarter and cruised to a convincing 69-48 victory over the Warriors to capture the gold medal in the league championship game on Tuesday night at the West Ferris gymnasium.
Tristan Gilbert made some key first half shots and finished with 16 points for the Cavs.
Cavalier team members include: Parker Nelson, Wes Buell, Riley Birstonas O’Byrne, Owen Lacroix, Tyson Harmer, David Evans, Johnny Couch, Owen Smith, Tristan Gilbert, Mason Larochelle, Zakari Dufresne-Nappert, and Jesse Foster. Head coach is Jeff Buell.
