The Callander Girls Softball Association has made an excellent presence in the Callander, East Ferris, Powassan and North Bay areas throughout the spring by being involved in a number of trade shows and events which have resulted in a very successful registration.

Over the last few weeks the Association has had practices for both the Squirt and Bantam Divisions keeping the fields very busy with 5 girl's teams; two teams in the Squirt Division  and 3 teams in the Bantam Division.

League games will officially start Wednesday, June 1st and carry on through to the end of July with the Family Tournament ending the season on July 22-24.

The Association has enjoyed much support from the Municipality of Callander, Municipality of Powassan, East Ferris Township and the North Bay area and is very appreciative of the parent support and community assistance provided to date.

The association looks forward to a very exciting season with the addition of a Bantam Girls Rep Team with tryouts finishing up this week.

The Association welcomes new registrations even as the season begins on June 1st and will be at the East Ferris Trade Show this Saturday at Astorville Arena from 9-2.

We thank all the community support of the "against the odds development" of the Association including our Team Sponsors, Osprey Links Golf Course, Northern Brick LTD, Collin Adams Masonry, Moore Petroleum, and Callander Animal Hospital and donations by  BDO, Investors Group, Ben's Plumbing and Heating and the Callander Lions Club.
