'How about we put down the PS4, tablet or cell phone and turn off the TV, join the Bulldogs and go outside and play real football!'

The North Bay Bulldogs Football Club is gearing up for its 18th season of youth football starting this coming week with a training camp for Tykes and for Peewee.

Things get going at Rollie Fisher on Saturday, September 11 at 3 p.m. for Tykes (grade 5 & 6) and 5:30 p.m. for Peewee (grades 7 & 8).

This 2 division system is giving more boys and girls an opportunity to learn the game of football emphasizing a fun and safe environment while focusing on skill development, unlimited fun, and making sure everyone gets to play lots of football.

Also included with registration is football equipment rental, post-season awards for all players, a photo package, and each player gets to keep his/her jersey after they complete the season.

So the Bulldogs’ message to boys & girls is “How about we put down the PS4, tablet or cell phone and turn off the TV, join the Bulldogs and go outside and play real football!”

Players can register online at www.northbaybulldogs.com or at Source for Sports on Fisher Street or e-mail at [email protected] or call Christa at 705 498-5929 for more information.

Registration fee payment plans are available.

As always you can register at our valued sports partner Skaters’s North at 1321 Fisher St. in North Bay where you can also pick up cleats, gloves and other sports supplies.
