Bruell Contracting is one game away from winning their first Men’s Ball Hockey League title after a convincing 6-1 win over the Fox and Fiddle.

Logan Hunt and Drew Wallace paced Bruell with two goals each while Dylan Dale and Troy Lajeunesse had singles.

Jake Piche made some key saves for Bruell, especially in the first period.  Brandon McNeil scored for the Fox, who seemed a little flat after their exiting and emotional semi–final victory over defending champions Grant Tax last week.

They will have to rebound quick in their best-of-three final with Bruell as game two goes Tuesday night at 8 p.m.  at the West Ferris Arena.

In the Consolaltion final, Cameron Morin’s goal midway in the third period broke a 3-3 tie as Kings Sportswear went on to beat Necessities 6-3 in  first game of the best of three final. Tony Rose scored twice for Kings while Darcy Karswagon, Bill Morin and Charlie Giesler had the others.

Nate McLeod, Will Michaud and Kyle Beaudette scored for Necessities.  Game two goes Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at West Ferris Arena.
