Black Knights Win Gold!

The Nipissing Inline Hockey League 14U AA Black Knights won Gold at the “Catch the Wave Tournament” this past weekend in Burlington, Ont. Losing only one game on the way to the finals against Team Nike from New Jersey, the Black Knights were ready for a re-match.

The feisty team won against Brampton, New Brunswick and London en route to the final game against Team Nike. The final score against Team Nike, after nail-biting back and forth scoring for both teams was Nipissing 6, Team Nike 5.

Team members from all over the Blue Sky Region include Mitchell Thomas, Nik Priebe, Chris Fraser, Aaron Kennedy, Devon Church and Andrew Gallant from North Bay, Pat Seguin and Pierre Seguin from West Nipissing and Brett Theberge from Sundridge. Coaches are, Greg Theberge, Norm Marion and Don Priebe.

The team will head to Brampton June 11 for another provincial qualifier.
