The team of Rodney Deforest of Cache Bay & Luc Graveline of North Bay won the 3rd Qualifier of the Nipissing Bass Series hosted by the Nosbonsing Anglers & Hunters on Sunday, August 11th 2019 out of the North Bay Water Front Marina.
The competitors faced a nasty Lake Nipissing right from blast off as the high winds made for a challenging day of fishing.
The winning catch tipped the scales at 21.15 lbs. and were successfully released with all the other fish that were brought to the scales.
Graveline now has the lead in the Angler of the Year race as a result of his team’s catch.
The 4th Qualifier is Sunday, August 25th at the Sturgeon River House Museum.
