Bears heading to Tournament final

The St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears hockey team continues to maul the competition at the Trinity College Invitational Hockey Tournament in Port Hope. On Saturday the North Bay squad defeated Lakefield College 5-0, with Kyle Aubut getting the shutout.

On Saturday the North Bay squad defeated Lakefield College 5-0, with Kyle Aubut getting the shutout.

On Saturday night the Bears followed up with a convincing 8-0 victory over Pickering College in the 6-team tournament semi-final. James Demarco got the shutout.

In their first game Friday afternoon, the Bears mauled Ridley College 14-4, then Friday night the Bears continued their winning ways beating the host club from Trinity College, 4-1.

The tournament final takes place Sunday at 10 a.m.. The Bears are the only non-private school invited to the event.
