Bears fall in Trinity College Final

The St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears hockey club lost a 2-1 decision in the final of the Trinity College Invitational Hockey Tournament in Port Hope.

The St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears hockey club lost a 2-1 decision in the final of the Trinity College Invitational Hockey Tournament in Port Hope.

The Bear rolled through their competition winning their first four games of the tourney including a 8-0 semi-final win Saturday night over Pickering College.

In the final, their opponents from Mclaughlin College (Oshawa) scored on a penalty shot with less than five minutes remaining in the third period to break the 1-1 tie. Nick Gordon scored the lone marker for the Bears.
