Bears at Mississauga area hockey tourney(updated)

The St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears hockey team is in the Toronto area this weekend taking part in the 48 team Father Goetz hockey tournament.
The St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears hockey team is in the Toronto area this weekend taking part in the 48 team Father Goetz hockey tournament.

In their second game of the day Kevin Finner scored an overtime goal during 3 on 3 play to give the Bears a 2-1 win Friday afternoon against Crestwood from Peterborough. Rocky Peterson scored the other Bears goal.

The Bears dropped their first game 4-0 to Meadowvale from Mississauga. James Rivet and Nick Fava were the Bears game stars.

The Bears play again at 8:00 p.m. Friday night against St. Mary's from Pickering. With a win the Bears will continue to play on the weekend, a loss and they are out of the tournament.

The Bears finished second in their last tournament in Southern Ontario, that event was in Port Hope back in January.
