Battalion dropped by Attack in pre-season finale

The Owen Sound Attack scored three times in the third period en route to a 4-1 win over the North Bay Battalion in Owen Sound on Sunday afternoon.

Alan Lyszczarcyk and Daylon Groulx scored goals less than 2 minutes apart in the latter stages of the third period to secure the Attack win.

Kyle Potts had the lone goal for the Battalion in the second period.  

Christian Purboo made 26 saves in the loss.

The Battalion, who beat the Attack 7-4 on home ice Saturday over the Attack, return to home ice this week as they host the defending OHL champion Hamilton Bulldogs in the season opener Friday, September 21st at Memorial Gardens.
