The North Bay Bantam Stingers, sponsored by Assante, are off to the provincial championship which will take place in Mississauga Labour Day weekend.

The Stingers qualified after hosting the provincial qualifier this Sunday at the Omischl Sports Complex against the Sudbury Shamrocks Bantam rep team. The Stingers took an early lead after the first inning leading 1-0. Sudbury rebounded and took the lead 2-1.
