The North Bay Partners In Law Major Bantam AAA Trappers swept the Timmins Eagles in a three-game regular season series over the weekend.

The Trappers won Game 1, 2-1 Saturday afternoon at Memorial Gardens. Thomas Farrell scored both Trappers Goals and Colton Point earned the win in goal.

Saturday evening, the Trappers earned a 6-3 Victory over the Eagles in front of a large crowd at Pete Palangio Arena.

The Trappers dominated the play start to finish with a relentless dump and chase forecheck that kept the Eagles frustrated and on their heels. Scoring for the Trappers were David Lambert with 2 goals and 2 assists, Jacob Delisle with 2 goals, while Mitchell Hocevar-Lavigne and Gianni Chaput scored singles.

Eric Venditti got the win between the pipes.

In game three, also at Palangio, the Trappers again dominated the play but faced excellent goaltending from Bradley Dobson of the Eagles.

Despite outshooting the Eagles 26–13 through two periods the score was tied 0-0.

In the third, after Timmins scored 1st, Braeden Villeneuve scored shorthanded on a breakaway and Will Hatherly scored his first of the season on the power play.

Karter Renouf tied it up for the Eagles before Travis Budge scored from his back after being hauled down on a partial breakaway to seal the win for the Trappers.

Point again earned the win in goal.

Trappers next action comes November 24th and 25th as they travel to Sault Ste Marie for a 3-game series against the Greyhounds.
