The Atom Major AA Trappers have seen some success in their latest tournament, which was hosted in North Bay last weekend.

This team was extremely excited to have the opportunity to play at home, in front of all their family and friends. They showed their speed, skill and effort in the round-robin as they kicked off the tournament against the Sudbury Wolves and tied the game with a final score of 3-3.

Next up were the Rideau St Lawrence Kings, the Trappers came out on top with a score of 3-1.

Saturday morning, they won against the Nickel City Junior Sons 5-1.

That game was followed by a nail biter in the afternoon against the Scarborough Young Bruins, which ended in a scoreless tie.

With that impressive round-robin record, the Trappers faced the Junior Sons in the semi-finals and outshot them 23 to 11, with a final score of 4 -1.

For the second time this season in a championship final, they faced the Scarborough Young Bruins.

The Trappers team showed up, gave their 100% effort to dominate the game and wrap up the tournament with a 4-1 victory.
