Team NOHA earned a split on the opening day of the OHL Cup on Wednesday as they even started today in the GTA.

The NOHA team coached by Astorville’s Richard Rochefort and managed by Battalion Assistant GM Matt Rabideau, opened the event with a 3-0 win over London Wednesday morning and then dropped a 3-2 setback at the hands of the Vaughan Kings on Wednesday night.

In the London victory, North Bay Trappers goalie Reece Proulx was perfect making 29 saves in the win.  His teammate Pacey Schleuting had one of the goals for the NOHA All-Stars in the game one win.

In game two, Schleuting was the NOHA game star as he notched his second goal of the OHL Cup.  Teammate Jack Stockfish added an assist.

The NOHA team will be back in action Thursday morning when they face the Oakville Rangers.
