Partners Billiards & Bowling are hosting the 19th Annual 8-Ball Rumble Pool Tournament this weeekend with close to 250 players taking part on 53 teams and 160 players participating in the singles divisions.
Competition started Thursday for the individual matches with the finals today. The team competition starts today at 4 p.m. and continues until 1 p.m. on Sunday afternoon for the finals
Players will be competing for a cash purse of almost $20,000. Teams are representing North Bay and area, Sudbury, Sault Ste. Marie, Rouyn-Noranda, Ville Marie, and Oshawa.
The 8-Ball Rumble is a premier event in Ontario with the tournament featuring some of the best male and female players from Ontario and Quebec.
There are five levels of play, Silver and Open Division for advanced players, Bronze Divisions for the intermediate-level players as well as Copper for the recreational player, and the Women’s Division.
