Mattawa OPP is investigating a break, enter and theft that occurred at a camp located on Perron Lake in Olrig Township approximately nine km south of Highway 533.

Thieves forced their way into the cottage sometime between Sept. 13 and Oct. 3, 2003, and took a number of household items including pots, bowls, toilet paper, frying pans, garbage bags, axe, shovel and a large tin of coffee.

The culprits also took valuable items such as a propane sensor for a fridge and a Homelite 4000 gas generator.

The approximate value of this theft totals $2,000.00. Police continue their investigation in this matter.
