ITEMS STOLEN IN BREAK-IN
(Mattawa, ON)
OPP in Mattawa were called on Wednesday Nov. 5, 2003 at approximately 10:30 a.m. to a residence located at 3942 Highway 17, Papineau-Cameron Township regarding a break-in the day before.

Sometime between 4 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 4th and 3:10 a.m. Wednesday Nov. 5th, 2003, thieves entered the residence located east of Mattawa and made off with some items. Stolen is an older model red ‘Jonsered’ chainsaw, a 5 gallon light blue ‘Culligan’ water jug, a dark green duffle bag, a VCR (make not available) with a remote control, and a 40 oz. bottle of Bacardi Rum.
Police are continuing their investigation.

Powassan OPP received a call last evening regarding the theft of an ATV stolen sometime Sunday Nov. 2, 2003.
A blue Honda 4X4 ATV 4-wheeler was stolen from 1022 Chiswick Line, Chisholm Township sometime late Sunday evening.

Police are investigating the circumstances regarding this theft.
