BREAK-IN AT MERRICK LANDFILL SITE
(North Bay, ON)
North Bay OPP responded to an alarm at the Merrick Township Landfill Site located at the end of Sand Dam Road, Merrick Township, shortly before 3:15 a.m. today.
This is the landfill site that is commonly utilized by North Bay and area residents.
Police discovered a break-in had occurred to the main check-in building and to a storage container located on the sight.
The culprits were scared off by the alarm. An unknown quantity of items were stolen and police are continuing their investigation.
