Driver charged in serious collision
On September 13, 2017, at 1:49 p.m., officers from the North Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a three-vehicle motor vehicle collision on Highway 17 at Gormanville Road.
As a result of the collision, four people were taken to hospital by ambulance with serious but non-life threatening injuries. There was extensive damage to all three vehicles.
One of the driver's was charged with failing to stop at red light contrary to section 144(18) of the Highway Traffic Act.
