OPP North Bay is still asking the public’s assistance into a missing boat and motor.
On Monday Nov. 3rd, 2003, at approximately 4:45p.m., 68 year-old Ray Hamilton of North Bay was towing his boat and motor on a trailer from Wyse Lake, Wyse Township on McConnell Lake Road.
When he reached Highway 63, he discovered that the boat and motor fell off on the way.
He attempted to locate it without success. Missing is a 12 foot aluminum green ‘Mirror’ runabout and a 1997 9.9 grey Evinrude outboard motor.

On Tuesday November 5th, 2003 at approximately 6:00 p.m., a motorist observed a pick-up truck and a small car parked southbound on Highway 63 south of Thorne near the Big Jocko River by what appeared to be a boat in the west ditch. This may be the missing boat and motor.
