Thefts from boats MATTAWA – Members of the Mattawa Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment are investigating thefts from boats docked at Mattawa Marina.

NIPISSING – On June 16, 2016, the Powassan Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was advised that a white “Cradle Ride”, single axle boat trailer had been stolen from a boat house on Lake Nipissing Road, Nipissing Township. The trailer is believed to have been taken between June 12 and June 16 2016.

Police are looking for information from the public in regards to the person(s) responsible for the theft of the trailer. 

Any person with information regarding the person(s) responsible for this incident should immediately contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or their nearest police authority.

Thefts from boats

MATTAWA – Members of the Mattawa Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment are investigating thefts from boats docked at Mattawa Marina. 

Investigation reveals that unknown suspect(s) entered boats parked at the marina sometime in late May to early June. 

Items stolen were fishing rods, tackle boxes and two propane cylinders.
