Brampton, Ont., middle school teacher accused of sexually assaulting three girls

BRAMPTON, Ont. — Police say a teacher has been charged after he allegedly sexually assaulted three girls at a Brampton, Ont., middle school.

Peel Regional Police say the 59-year-old Oakville, Ont., man was arrested Monday and is facing three counts each of sexual assault and sexually touching a person under 16, an offence known as sexual interference.

Police say investigators received information last month alleging the teacher had sexually assaulted three girls at a middle school in the Peel District School Board between October and November this year.

They say the girls are minors.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and they believe there could be more alleged victims.

They are asking anyone with information to contact investigators with the special victims unit.
