McCOLGAN, Sister Norean (Mother M. St. Edward)

It is with great sadness that The Sisters of St. Joseph of Sault Ste. Marie announce the death of Sister Norean McColgan (Mother M. St. Edward) in the Infirmary of St. Joseph’s Motherhouse on Monday, December 8, 2003.


It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Tom Richmond, 88, after a brief battle with cancer. Tom will be sorely missed by Gladys, his life partner and loving wife of 60 years.


Peacefully, in the presence of his loving family, on Tuesday, December 2nd, 2003 at St. Peter’s Hospital, in his 63rd year. Beloved father of Rebecca and her husband Ted.

TUFFY, Robin Joseph

Robin Tuffy died peacefully at North Bay General Hospital on Friday, December 5, 2003 in his 62nd year. Robin, of Restoule, was predeceased by his parents Marjorie (Cotler) and John Tuffy, his brothers John and Michael Tuffy.

HUBERT, Norman (Warrant Officer Retired) Gibby)

At his residence in North Bay on Saturday December 6, 2003 with his loving wife Loreen by his side, at the age of 69 years. Beloved husband of Loreen Hubert. Dear father of Barbara Ann (Robert Cole) of Pickering and Norman (Emma) of Ottawa.

FOUND, Ethel Bishop “Bish”

Died peacefully at the Leisureworld Nursing Care Centre, on Friday December 5th, 2003. Beloved wife of the late Sherman Richard Found, in her 86th year. Loving stepmother of Rick Found and his wife Corrine of North Bay.

DESPRES, Charles J.

Died peacefully on December 3, 2003 at the Temiskaming Hospital, Charles was born in North Bay, Ontario on October 24, 1921 to Charles J. Despres and Rose Bourque. Educated in New Liskeard, he married Aline Champagne, August 23, 1948.

DAIGNEAULT, Bernard Joseph "Bernie"

Suddenly at Leisureworld, North Bay, on Friday, December 5th, 2003. Bernie Daigneault, beloved husband of Virginia "Ginny" Starr, in his 69th year.

TEMPLETON, Robert "Bert"

In loving memory of Robert "Bert" Templeton, who passed away at the Sudbury Regional Hospital, Laurentian Site, Friday morning, December 5th, 2003, at the age of 63. Beloved husband and best friend of Sandi Templeton of Sudbury.
