It is with great sorrow that we have lost a much beloved member of our family.

Wilson Bing Ya Zuo, age 73, passed peacefully in the North Bay General Hospital, surrounded by friends, and loved ones on July 21st, 2022.

Wilson was born in Changsha, capital of Hunan Province. Wilson made Canada his home for the last 20 years of his life, eventually residing in North Bay, a city he loved a great deal.

Wilson is survived by his daughter Shirley, and his grandchildren Vincent and Alice and his ex-wife Yunqiang Li.

Wilson was raised in the city of Changsha where he focused on education and became a computer programming teacher. He loved teaching new young minds and often talked about his time as an educator of more than 20 years. Wilson loved music a great deal and unbeknownst to those around him had a beautiful singing voice. With his sights set on a better life for his family he set his sights in Canada. Wilson found an opportunity in Vancouver with a company called Atlas Copco Explorations Products where he operated as a machinist and developed several meaningful long-term friendships in the twenty years with the company. With ACEP Wilson found himself in the city where he decided to stay, North Bay Ontario.

Wilson is a good father and grandfather, he ensured he travelled back to China every year to spend time with his family, especially his daughter and his grandchildren. He was greatly loved by his family and considered an incredible role model by all who were fortunate to spend time with him.

Wilson was considered a thoughtful and kind man for all who knew him and will be greatly missed by all.

We would like to thank the staff of the North Bay General Hospital that gave great care and compassion to Wilson in his final days.
