Passed away peacefully, with family by her side, on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Eastholme, Powassan. She was one month shy of her 104th Birthday. Clara was predeceased by her husband Ernie in 2002. She was the much-loved mother of Doug (Pat) and Joy Kent (Wayne) all of Powassan. She was a special Grandma to David and Joel Young and Adam and Matthew Kent and great-grandmother to Ehren, Ellie, Finn and Jessa Kent. Clara is survived by her sister Dorothy Hanselman of North Bay. She was predeceased by her sister Marie Haigh and brothers Hugo, George, Reynold, Stan and Lloyd. The family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan on Friday, June 7 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the Paul Funeral Home on Saturday, June 8 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Powassan Union Cemetery.
