WOLAK, Antoni

It is with great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Antoni Wolak surrounded by his family at home on March 15, 2018 at the age of 90 years. Loving husband of Krystina Wolak and the late Zofia Wolak. Dearly loved father of Carla Tomlinson (Norman) and step father of Irena Laskowski (Marek) and Heryk (Monika) and Jurek (Ewa). Cherished grandfather of Noreen Kirby and step grandfather of Agnieszka (Gerry), Tomek (Paulina) Kasia (Gene). and great grandfather of Cassandra, Jack, Lindsay and Terrance Dominik, Izabela Layla, Landon, Lana, Logan and Tyson. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by niece Marisa Wesolowski (Greg), nephew Bogdan Wolak (Ewa), nieces and nephews in Poland, great nieces, nephews in Canada family in Poland and survived by a sister Maria. Predeceased by his parents, a sister Anieala and a brother Jozef Wolak (Anna-dec) in Poland. Family receiving friends at the McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME (North Bay) on Monday March 19, 2018 from 9 am until 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Holy Name of Jesus Church on Monday March 19, 2018 at 11 am. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be gratefully appreciated by the family. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to the East Lin (CCAC) and ParaMed especially Mercedes Barber, Wendy Aultman and Jessica Cook for their care and compassion shown to our family.
