Passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness at the age of 80, at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Sunday, August 11th, 2019. Jim was the beloved husband of Carole (nee) Truchon. Loving father of Penny Villiers-Legros and her husband Gerry. He will be sadly missed by his grandson Daryl. Dearly loved brother of Jane Bentley (Marc), Lorraine Villiers and Bill Villiers. Will be missed by the Truchon family also by his beloved petting partner Mickey. He was predeceased by his parents Isabel (nee Donald) and Ernie Villiers. Jim worked at Stelco (Canada Works) Hamilton for 10 years and 30 years across Canada pipelining. He was a member of Local 793 International Operating Engineers and Teamsters Union Local 362. He was an animal rights advocate including an avid wildlife enthusiast. A special thanks to the nurses on C3.
