It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Mike Veltri on Thursday June 27, 2019 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre at the age of 76. Loving husband of Elaine McLaren (Reynolds). Loving father to Christina Veltri (Ron), Lisa Streater (Chad) and loving stepfather to Christopher McLaren (Trish) and Steven McLaren (Kristi). Dear son-in-law to Florence Reynolds. Dear brother-in-law to Phil Plumb, Judy Shultz (John). Cherished grandfather to Keysha, Alexanne, Coley, Adam, Sonya, Sarah and great grandson Jack.
Dearly missed by his sisters Jenny Veltri and Patsy Veltri (Marcel). Dear Uncle of David Reckzin (Rachelle), Mark Reckzin (Yolanda), James Tanney (Sandra), Carla Turgeon, Holly Henderson (Jim), Trevor Plumb (Julie) and Great Uncle to Mark, Kiersten, Lukas, Madelyn, Alexis, Logan, Seth, Caleb, Cyan, Justyce, Dylan and Genevieve.
Also sadly missed by Leo Martel (Karen), Bill Brownlee (Linda) and Wally Field (Carol).
Predeceased by his parents Guido and Genevieve Veltri (nee Guertin), his first wife Gail Veltri (nee Hutson) mother of Christina and Lisa and sister-in-law Barbara Plumb (nee Hutson).
Services and visitation to be held at McGuinty Funeral Home, North Bay. Visitation Sunday July 7, 2019 6-9 and the Funeral service Monday July 8, 2019 will be held at McGuinty Funeral Home at 11:00am.
