(Sept 24, 1928 – Dec, 7, 2018) -  It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of a dear brother, uncle and friend, Jack Veltri, in his 91st year. Jack passed away on Dec. 7th, 2018 at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, ON in the early hours of the morning.

Jack was a farmer for most of his life and was proud to carry on his parents legacy. He will be remembered as an avid historian, for all past stories of his days on the farm with his 5 sisters, 5 brothers and his parents.  Jack came from a family of musicians and singers and has left behind many memories of our times together at family reunions and celebrations where he enjoyed playing his steel guitar accompanied by anyone who could play or sing.
Jack was funny and could make anyone laugh. He may be gone from us but he will live on in our hearts forever.

Loving brother of Frances (Fanny) Schiavo (late Albert) of North Bay, Rudy Veltri (Evelyn) of Toronto and Josie Troy (late Bill) of Rockwood, ON. Predeceased by his parents Salvatore and Concetta Veltri (nee Cardamone), step mother Annuciata Veltri (nee Greco) and by his siblings Ernesto (late Louise), Anthony (Tony) (late Alice), Gerry (late Marjorie), Rita Anello (late Angelo), Mary Costante (Albert) and Gloria Souliere (late Lawrence).
