Peacefully, at Cassellholme for the Aged, Saturday March 13, 2004, Lena Tremblay (née Levesque), beloved wife of the late Wilfred “Sonny” Tremblay, in her 83rd year. Loving sister of George Levesque (late Bernadette), and Elizabeth Stargratt. Loving mother of Eileen Royer, Leo (Lynn), Rita Dufresne (Gerry), all of North Bay, Shirley Oja (Viido) of Sudbury. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Shane Tremblay, Christine Royer, Ann Kornel (Dave), David Contant, and six great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her son, Wilfred “Sonny” Tremblay, brothers Alex, Walter, Frank and parents Elizabeth and Alex Levesque. Lena was an employee of the Empire Hotel and Baywood Motel for many years. Visitation at the McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at the Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption Tuesday at 10 a.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
