Funeral services were held on Wednesday, October 29, 2003 at McGuinty Funeral Home with Father Terry Fournier and Reverend Mr. Pat Barter officiating. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Emile and a daughter, Lydia Sylvestre. Phyllis is survived by Evelyn Auger (Maurice), North Bay; Joann Falconi, Victoria, British Columbia; Julia Ouellette (Tom), North Bay; Paul, Huntsville: Peter (Christine), Oshawa; Phillippe (Joanne), Sault Ste. Marie; Jean (Monique), St. Chrysostome, Quebec; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Special thanks to Dr. Cowan and Dr. Jinnah for their care; to the staff at 4 West Scollard Site; to the VON and Meals on Wheels; and to the ladies of the CWL, Corpus Christi Church.
