STEEVES, Fredrick ‘Ross’

It is with broken hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Retired Warrant Officer Fredrick ‘Ross’ Steeves, with his beloved Mouse “Barbara’ by his side, his wife for 60 years, on December 5, 2017 in his 85th year. Loving father of Roslyn Spencer (Craig), Susan Steeves, Casey Corley (Scott), Kelly Steeves (Al Bridgeman) and Melissa Sigouin (Luc). Cherished grandpa of Kendra, Christina & Kyla Goth, Matt Cousins, Chris & Mary Murphy, Dominic, Alex and Stephanie Sigouin, Megan McGuigan and 6 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his grandson; Jason. Ross was a Retired Warrant Officer with the Royal Canadian Air Forces for 29 years. Ross worked as an Air Defense Technician, travelling across Canada, The United States and different parts of Europe. He loved his bridge and played every week until a week ago, thanks to his bridge partner Bob. Ross loved his crossword puzzles, reading and hockey. Thanks to the 406 Squadron Bridge Club for their support. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel (North Bay) at 11 am followed by a luncheon. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Veterans Benevolent Fund would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
