Passed away January 18, 2022, at the North Bay Regional Health Centre in her 68th year.
Kathryn St. George (nee Layman) of North Bay – beloved wife of Emile St. George for 39 years. Dear mother of Jeffrey St. George (Mary) and Colette St. George (Agus) of Calgary. Cherished grandmother of Finnian, Declan, and Brynna. She is survived by her mother, Verna Feindel, 2 sister-in-law’s, Lorrie Layman and Leisa Macedo and several nieces and nephews. Also survived by 3 stepchildren, Mitch St. George (Robyn) of Vancouver Island, Daniel (Kristy) of Edmonton and Carole St. George of Edmonton along with 3 step-grandchildren.
She was born in Pembroke, Ontario to Max and Verna (Schultz) Layman on March 8, 1954.
Kathryn was predeceased by her father Max (1970), her 3 brother’s Barry (1999), Douglas (2020) Gary (2010), infant sister (1960) and nephew Eric (2004).
Kathryn figured largely in the lives of all who knew her and will be sorely missed and fondly remembered. She loved quilting and made many baby quilts for anyone she knew who was having a baby and there were many.
Cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Martyn Funeral Home.
