Formerly of Sundridge, peacefully at the Eastholme Home for the Aged, Powassan on Thursday, January 1, 2004 in her 89th year. Sue Smith, beloved wife of the late Angus Smith. Loving mother of Jo-Ann Halbert of Powassan and Beverley Moore (Gerry) of Callander. Cherished grandmother of James Moore (Corina), Jody Lyn McCabe (Chris) and Michael Moore. Dear sister of Elva Merry of Sundridge and Wilfred Snow (Terry) of Sudbury. Predeceased by her parents George and Ada (Hill) Snow, sister and brother-in-law Margaret and Charles Percival and brother-in-law Alge Merry. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and many friends in the area. The late Mrs. Sue Smith will rest at the Moore’s Funeral Home Chapel, 9 Paget Street, Sundridge from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, 2004. Funeral services will be conducted at the Zion United Church, Sundridge on Monday, January 5, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Steven Davis officiating. Spring interment at Strong Cemetery, Sundridge. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
