SMITH, Elinor

Elinor Smith died peacefully at North Bay Regional Health Centre, on Sunday, August 28, 2015. She was in her 91st year. Elinor (nee Henry) was predeceased by her husband Ward Emerson Smith (1919-2006) and her son Hugh Smith (1949-2015). She was the beloved mother of Tim Smith (Sherrill) of Chisholm and grandmother of Krisha (Rob) and Jesse (Lauren). Elinor was the dear sister of Marie Evoy and Tom Henry, both of Sault Ste. Marie. She was predeceased by her siblings Margaret Brownlee and Dr. Jack Henry. The Smith family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan on Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The funeral service will be held Friday, September 2, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Paul Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation will be followed by interment of ashes at Boxwell Cemetery at a later date.
